About INOMAK

INOMAK was founded in Athens in April 1976 under the name Barbarigos K. – Chandrinos S. & Brothers Ltd.

The company was established with the ambition to challenge the standards of the Greek market by manufacturing professional foodservice equipment that combined dependable quality with competitive value.

Shortly afterwards, operations moved to a historic industrial building in Perissos, which served as the company’s headquarters and production facility for more than a decade.

It was here that the first INOMAK refrigerators were manufactured, establishing professional refrigeration as a central part of the company’s product portfolio.

In 1990, INOMAK S.A. was established in its current legal form.

During the same year, the company moved to its privately owned headquarters and production plant in Koropi, Attica, creating the foundation for future growth and increased manufacturing capacity.

The installation of INOMAK’s first CNC machines marked an important step in the modernization of its manufacturing processes.

This investment increased precision, consistency and production capacity, bringing the company’s vision for organized, large-scale manufacturing closer to reality.

As demand increased, INOMAK expanded its production and warehouse facilities in 1992 and again in 1995.

These developments increased the total site area to approximately 8,000 m² and supported the company’s growing production requirements.

INOMAK began establishing its international presence through participation in trade exhibitions outside Greece.

The strong interest shown by international visitors and customers confirmed the export potential of INOMAK products and helped lay the foundations for the company’s future international growth.

INOMAK obtained ISO 9001 certification, formally establishing a structured framework for quality management across its operations.

The certification confirmed the company’s commitment to consistent product quality, reliable processes and continuous improvement, reinforcing the foundations on which INOMAK had built its manufacturing activity.

INOMAK was recognized among the 500 most profitable companies in Greece, according to ICAP’s business assessment.

The distinction reflected the company’s strong and consistent business performance, as well as the solid foundations that had been established through years of focused manufacturing activity, customer relationships and sustainable growth.

INOMAK obtained ISO 14001 certification, strengthening its approach to systematic environmental management.

The certification marked an important step in integrating environmental responsibility into the company’s operations and manufacturing processes, complementing its established commitment to quality with a more structured approach to environmental performance and continuous improvement.

In 2009, INOMAK introduced a new corporate logo, marking an important renewal of its visual identity.

The updated identity reflected the company’s ongoing development and its ambition to present a more contemporary and distinctive image as its presence in the professional foodservice equipment market continued to grow.

In 2014, INOMAK renewed the design of its professional refrigeration equipment and stainless steel products, bringing a more contemporary approach to the appearance, ergonomics and functionality of its product range.

INOMAK obtained ISO 9001 certification, formally establishing a structured framework for quality management across its operations.

2016 was a landmark year for INOMAK, marked by significant investments in both its corporate infrastructure and its product development. 

In September 2016, INOMAK inaugurated its new Corporate Headquarters, marking another important milestone in the company's growth. Designed to support collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence, the modern facility brings together the company's management, commercial, engineering / R&D, customer service, accounting & finance, marketing and administrative teams in a workplace that reflects INOMAK's commitment to continuous development and long-term success.

Beyond investing in its people and workplace, 2016 also marked an important step in INOMAK's product development journey.

Energy Classification of INOMAK Refrigerators 
INOMAK as a pioneer of the Greek Catering Equipment Sector, obtained the energy classification of its Upright and Counter Refrigerators in accordance with the new European Union requirements. 
This achievement reaffirmed the company's commitment to energy efficiency, transparent product information, and the continuous development of high-performance refrigeration solutions for the professional foodservice and hospitality sectors.

INOMAK introduced the natural refrigerant R290 across its product portfolio.

This transition was supported by investment in state-of-the-art refrigerant charging, circuit inspection and leakage-detection equipment, reinforcing both production quality and environmental responsibility.

INOMAK became the first Greek manufacturer in its sector to introduce a broad RAL colour palette for its professional refrigerators.

This development gave architects, consultants, designers and hospitality professionals greater freedom to integrate refrigeration equipment into distinctive interior concepts and branded spaces.

Through steady and carefully planned development, INOMAK continued to enhance its professional equipment portfolio, investing in technology, quality, performance and functionality.

New product launches during this period included:

• Dry-Aging Meat Cabinets
• High-energy Efficiency Freezer Counters 
• Refrigerated Chef’s Base Counters (step 40)

These launches reflected INOMAK’s commitment to responding to evolving professional kitchen requirements.

INOMAK continued to expand its product portfolio with the introduction of:

• Refrigerated Pizza Preparation Counters
• Portable Refrigerated Display Cases

At the same time, the company invested further in factory machinery, engineering equipment and production capabilities to support product quality, manufacturing efficiency and future growth.

In 2026, INOMAK celebrates five decades of manufacturing experience, innovation and partnership.
